Our Learning Improvement Plan for 2024-2025

This year the adults in school are going to concentrate on:

• Helping you (and your parents) to use grammatically correct spoken English, by modelling this to you themselves.
• Helping you to write in sentences with letters that are correctly formed with clear ascenders and descenders, finger spaces, a capital letter and a full-stop.
• Helping your Parents and Carers to support you in your learning at home and to get you into school every day when you are well enough to be. 
• Making sure that they, and the school environment, are well equipped to support you or your friends when learning is tricky. 
• Planning in some more exciting extra-curricular opportunities that you might not usually experience at home.

As pupils at Cedars you will:

• Attend school whenever you are well enough to do so.
• Will speak clearly and confidently using grammatically correct language. 
• Will write sentences correctly, using excellent handwriting. 
• Have Parents/ Carers who can confidently and competently support your learning at home.
