Science & Forest School
At Exhall Cedars our Children love Science and Forest School.
Our curriculum across the school aims to foster a love of exploring the Natural World, developing the children’s curiosity and desire to ask questions, make predictions based on previous learning and their existing knowledge, as well as being inspired by their observations and discoveries.
Awe and wonder, developing those Scientific detective skills and broadening spoken language through the teaching of subject specific vocabulary at the appropriate stage underpin our inclusive learning opportunities.
Adults support the children to think ‘outside the box’ and to challenge each other.
We take part in The National Science week themes and invite visiting science workshops into school.
