Uniform
Exhall Cedars Infant Nursery and Preschool is committed to promoting equality and value for money and to ensuring that no child is discriminated against due to their religion or belief, economic circumstances or social and cultural background.
Additionally, it is important that our pupils feel a sense of belonging to our school. We believe that wearing a smart and practical uniform allows all children, regardless of their backgrounds, to feel equal to their peers and confident in their appearance.
We also believe it is important for children to wear clothing that is conducive to a successful learning environment, including activity-appropriate clothing, such as sports attire.
School uniform from Reception is compulsory, however this means that children should wear clothing in the school colours, not necessarily items with the school logo.

OPAL Clothing
As part of our Outdoor Play and Learning Programme, children are encouraged to access play across the whole of the outdoor site, including the fields, regardless of weather.
Your child will need to bring everyday:
A coat with hood and a pair of named wellies
so they can engage in play across all areas, every day, regardless of the weather.
Without wellies they will unfortunately have to be restricted to the main playground only.
Forest School Clothing
Children are asked to come into school on the day of their Forest School session wearing their school uniform. Their Forest School clothing must be brought in for them to change into, as children may get muddy and/or wet.
